A Dream Exists

A Dream Exists A dream that has not yet been kissed Remains unseen, but does exist A vision that is undefined Imbedded in a dreamers mind It lives as sure as dawning light Erases moons and stars of night Forgotten in the daytime sun Remaining on the path they’ve spun Just as a tulip bulb will rest Beneath the snow in winter’s nest As warmth of sun and springtime mist Give life, so does a dream exist The flower lives and worries not Which season is, if cold or hot To stars that fly the Milky Way The day is night and night is day A dream is visible and clear Though not to eye or hand or ear It lives within the heart and mind As sure as rambling roses twine Just as the breeze remains unseen As barren trees will turn to green  As stars will disappear at dawn As fairies sprint across the lawn Written February 9th, 2002 © on Feb 08 2002 11:38 PM PST   0 • 10
