Come Quickly Now

Come Quickly Now Come quickly now and quietly And bring the coming day Twirling in the spaces On a slipper of ballet Around a fiery sphere you twirl And gracefully unveil The floral blooms of April That are left upon the trail The universe is savoring The fragrances of spring That spin from off the blossoms’ Golden petals that you bring Come fill my garden up with joy And green on every tree And fill my eyes with colors Spinning into ecstasy The time is right, the earth is tilting Into springtime pose Balancing and whirling On the tip of ballet toes It’s time to show your glory now It’s time to cleanse my soul With sense of new beginnings As sweet daffodils unfold Come quickly now to fill my head With lilac’s scent and tulip’s red Written March 16th, 2002 © on Mar 15 2002 07:43 PM PST   0 • 10
