Keyboard My keyboaed is the placenta that feeds all the umbilical chords that stretch from my mind far beyond the horizon visible from my window to minds of poets around the world eyes on the other side of the globe, aesthetically connected to the letters that touch my fingers I feel the pulse of their minds tapping out phrases of wonder pumpted by the heart of technology into my own bloodstream friends in peotry, whom I have never seen, much more intimate friendships than aquaitnances outside the world of poetry Through my words, they see not my face, but my heart They’ve enterd not the dwelling in which I live and sleep, but have visited the place of my spirit and sipped from the same well of beauty Two spirits connected by an umbilical chord of desire that carries dreams through the viens of a humming box into the murmurs of a tender heart Written April 2nd, 2002 © on Apr 01 2002 04:51 PM PST   0 • 10
