Love Me For Who I Am

Love Me for Who I Am Look not at the attire that I wear Look rather at the deepness of my eyes And cherish all the visions waiting there And not the cloth that masks me in disguise Do not regard the portrait of my face Or want the velvet skin of soft allure But relish in the beauty and the grace Within my heart that you’ve been longing for Look not upon my body as sublime But only as a shell to house my soul Seek out the inner reaches of my mind And see the total woman as a whole Please love me first for who I really am And then adore the moonlight on my face And touch the flesh and kiss the ready lips  And pleasure in the warmth of love’s embrace Written March 8th, 2002 © on Mar 07 2002 08:50 PM PST   0 • 8
