Magic Moment
By Cinara
Magic Moment The dusk brings a sense of beginning and end When sky’s reds and purples and aureates blend In silence the heavens announcing that this Is the day’s final moment of glory and bliss The earth and the season have somehow produced The timing of swallows to gather and roost A signal for crickets to fiddle a tune When bat silhouettes flap across silver moon I sit and observe evening’s drama unfold Though there’s no final peace in all I behold Til the moon rises up in a soft globe of white And little stars come out to cover my night Written February 15th, 2002 © on Feb 14 2002 06:25 PM PST 0 • 10
