Meant to Be A season round the sun is born As earth leans into Capricorn When autumn days are marked and gone And winter winds are coming on The north is in its darkest days Reaching out for slanted rays That cannot melt the winter snows That linger as the north wind blows Despite the harshness of the cold The winter in its bosom holds The secret beauty that will bloom When earth beholds an April moon The storms of winter all will pass There is no darkness that will last The seasons of the spinning earth Each one unique as baby’s birth For every turn a day goes by For every moon a nighttime sky There is a reason spinning free For every season meant to be Written February 15th, 2002 © on Feb 15 2002 09:42 AM PST   0 • 10
