Pretty Purple Lace

Pretty purple lace Just as the redbud spatters woodland edge with pretty purple lace And dogwood pinks and whites in bloom adorn the woods with charming grace So does your love surround my heart With splendid hues of rainbow arc Just as the rays of filtered sun fall through the forest canopy And sun-drops dance upon the ground to rhythms of the wind and leaf So does your love enhance my soul With new dimension to the whole As mountain springs release their fill, and water wends through hilly seams Just as the clear spring waters rush and gather more from other streams So does my love forever grow Just as the sparkling waters flow As hummingbird his nectar sips So do I long to kiss your lips Written March 10th, 2002 © on Mar 09 2002 10:49 PM PST   0 • 8
