Some Day

Some Day Some day you will unveil the heart that is blind As night spreads before you a polka dot sky When moonlight has laid down an aura divine  You’ll see fires burn in a woman’s dark eye Someday in the future when darkness has crept And clouded your dreams with the blackness above The little white stars will dry tears you have wept And perhaps you will notice the one who’s in love I’ll wait for the time when you long to embrace In the warmth and the comfort of midnights sweet balm For sooner or later your footsteps will trace A deliberate path to my doorway of calm As soon as you see how I bathe in the stars Whenever you notice desires on my face Lit up by the Milky Way drifting afar That descends to earth’s nearness when two souls embrace Perhaps you’ll regret that somehow you let go The one left unnoticed, as love passed you by Though you’d stay if you’d unveil the passionate glow Of fires that rage in a woman‘s dark eye The two will be wrapped in the sweetness of night My eyes will reflect joys of polka dot sky Descending upon you invited delights As you gaze in the deepness of love in my eye e Written February 22nd, 2002 © on Feb 22 2002 02:00 AM PST   0 • 8
