You Came to Me Gently
By Cinara
You Came to Me Gently I lowered my head in the pillowy down my eyes bearly awake, my mind weary and muttled, my aching bones sinking into the softness of my bed The pain in my limbs flowed down my body from head to toe, and was suddenly released outof my feet and my bones now floated in comfort You came to me so gently in the dark caressing my memories my mind took a step backward in time for a few moments of pleasure which pulled the darkness from my eyes and filled them with the figure of you In a solitary breath I drank you in and my heart skipped a slight beat as I felt a pang of silver lightening piercing my chest with ectascy and sorrow I pulled my quilt up over my shoulders savoring your warmth for just a moment and cuddled into a light slumber, directing my visions toward the rapture of the moment as I fell off to sleep Written March 30th, 2002 © on Mar 30 2002 10:15 AM PST 0 • 10
