Hang on my friend. Hang on to the light. Please don't let yourself out.  Everyone cries, this is just a little different. Hang on my pal. Hold on to the tubes that hold you. Hold on a little longer. Just enough to speak. You havn't had too much, you should be ok. They keep saying you'll be home in no time. Hang on for your parents. Hang on for the dog Skip. Hang on for your bro and sis. come on, one more day buddy. we'll make it together. So hang on for one more night. Hang on for a few more breaths. Hang on for a goodbye. They're saying it's not going well now. They're saying that you feel the hurt. Can you? They say it's getting worse. You think you still have that breath? the one you said you'd hold on to? Today they say to give it up. Today they say it's over. But I won't let go. You hold on, I hold on. Right? We can do this right? We can overcome?? No...? You mean no? They're taking you off the tubes now. I begged them not to let you go. You still have forever. A real long time to grow. Well that's it now.  They say you're fading away.
