Chaotic Illusions of Love
By CloudRaven
Chaotic Illusions of Love As I leave the bar my lust for you is gone, The loud whispers in the bar have deafen my soul and spirit I cross the street, but first must wait for the spotted elephants dancing in ballerina shoes to pass. I wonder if I had too much to drink As I pass the coffee house, tears fall I realize I have truly lost you How long must I grieve for you? The store window shows exotic underwear, as the passion build up inside me It was a hateful love we shared, but the lust I have for you at this instance is overpowering Was it just chaotic illusions of love we had? Sensual tears hit the cold pavement as I walk lost in my pain and needs I hear a moonlight serenade coming from the restaurant our restaurant,as I see short people in tall clothing dancing I think maybe I need another drink! I think I need to call you To drench the thirst I have now in the pit of my stomach. The needs I have at this minute overcome my senses as I call you and begin another round into our chaotic illusions of love.challenge poem Written February 8th, 2002 © on Feb 08 2002 02:08 PM PST 0 • 10
