Rain
By CloudRaven
The roof top glistened with silver drops of water as the rain tumbled. The bare trees turned a dark brown and the ground drank as fast as it could. The wind pushed the tress up and back, as the cars went down the wet street. The window pane was covered with little drops of water. When I look out at this majestic scene my own tears plummet as I think of you. No one could hear me cry over the cry of the wind. No one could see my tears over the rain as it falls. From out of my window I could see all and hear all. My love seemed to burn in my heart, as I thought of our parting. The rain fell harder, and so did my tears, my love was gone and so was my sunshine. Written April 18th, 2002 © on Apr 18 2002 12:40 PM PST 0 • 1
