I live within orphaned eyes, I shadow every loss. My thick insulate lies, Follow no leaders. I have your child, wife and mother. I ate your politics, spat out your home. Dank the spirit, Of every hope and dream. You do not blame, or care, or see. Never find me in caves or tree. You can make bodies, Of my embodiment. But, my head will never sever. Drop all the metal you want, My mountain's in the mind. Spend your social structure on control. I will be there when good exacts its toll, On the happy sycophant. Look behind you so many times; In your dizziness, you’ll forget, What’s worth regret. And what was really me, or mine. Your progeny will speak one day, Of all the good you’ve done. Or did you winkle away your stay? Watch silent as it came undone. Written March 15th, 2002 © on Mar 15 2002 12:45 AM PST   0 • 9
