Can't Understand
Can't understand what happened today, the reasons for your going away. It makes no sense, to me, or you, of your leaving us, gee, who knew. Can't understand just what I feel, why I feel sick, and why I reel. It makes no sense to me, or them, why we won't ever see you again. Can't understand the reasons why, you had to go ahead and die, it's not your fault, I know that well, but here without you, still I dwell. Can't understand if you're OK, why someone made you leave that day, how someone could take your life away, when we all wanted you to stay. Can't understand a lot of things, all these questions life still brings. I know not where your spirit roams, but this I understand the most, that somewhere out there you still dwell, keeping happy, keeping well.
