My Fight

By CRaZyDiAmOnD

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My emotions cover me in a blanket of steel, Unfamiliar and cold Trying to break free, before i grow old Before all i have learned is forever lost I need to find a way out, but at what cost? I know it must require a sacrifice, A penance toward the passage Perhaps it is my constant searching That brings me to such odds I'm fighting a war, but what is the cause? My mind, in constant conflict with my spirit Im torn between two worlds But through it all, my mission the same To treat life as a journey, not as a game.
