Abused Child

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Trapped in a closet, stricken with fear, flashbacks of last night, the height of the hand, the force of the stomps! The scars on the head, the scars inside the heart. Defenseless, Powerless, begging for mercy, a life to spare. Getting hit again, again, and again. For what reason? Sheer evil, contentment? Running away, only to get caught, getting hit harder, with even more force. Being screamed at, laying sobbing. "Stop the abuse, someone help!!! So much swelling, so much blood. Lost a tooth today, useless, abuse, a child is forced to pay. ~CWMIt's so wrong, some adults are so cruel, for no reason, sheer haterd within their selves. ~CWM Written March 21st, 2002 © on Mar 21 2002 11:44 AM PST   0 • 1
