Burnt Memories

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

All of the memories, one by one, gather together, letters so dear to my heart. Lovely sentinments, wasted through time, lies, lies, all counted on thee letters. So much love, anguish, brought onto these letters, which hide a broken heart. It's gone, the love is gone, and it's never coming back. One rose, for love, a broken heart for anguish. The time has come, with darkness, as the nights glare, one letter adding fourty, burn into the night. With no water to prevent the fire, the only liquid that was shed, was from the tears from my eyes, and from the blood of my hands. Walking away forever, never turning back, the last of the memories, burn forver and ever.Burn, burn, burn. Written March 7th, 2002 © on Mar 07 2002 12:04 PM PST   0 • 1
