Eulogy

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

A body lays cold, forever taken from this world, peace is granted, rest has restored. Was this soul pure? Did this soul, give the ultimate sacrifice? Tears flow gently down, the mourner's face's, the sorrow of the missed soul. Never again, will it grace us, in our prescence, never again, will we laugh, and smile at one another. The eulogy is over, the casket is now being shut. A closing casket, of a thousand cries, all of them heard, all of them sent, to the death angels, from above. ~CWM Written February 19th, 2002 © on Feb 19 2002 08:16 AM PST   0 • 10
