Four On One

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Four wanting hearts, each standing in a corner, of a square, four wanting hearts, want to give this boy, love and care. Contender one, is someone from his past, contender one, is far behind, trailing last. Contender two, is someone fairly new, maybe her heart is true, who knows, lets wait for clues. Contender three, would do anything for his love, hold him tighter than a glove. Contender three, continues to fade away, but hopes, keeps this contender, here to play! Contender four, has the voice of kindness, sends peace, and face's smiling with gladness, with her, there's no real trace, of sadness. Four on one, three hearts, will be torn apart, some may even cry, one contender though, will love him, till the day, he dies, no one though, hides behind a disguise. Who will he choose Hey, at least he has nothing to lose.... ~CWMTo a friend, who has himself in a well, not triangle, but square! My goodness, he sould feel very special..... ~CWM Written April 6th, 2002 © on Apr 06 2002 12:19 AM PST   0 • 18 • 8
