Give Me, One More Day

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Ah! anguish creeps, into the darkness of the light, my fragile soul, weeps, as I cower, into the blackening mist! Joyous delight, has been forge with depression, as I reap, the distraught, of my unrequited passions! Remorse is my excuse, plight, I used to abuse. It hath displeased my drowning sentiments, because of a single mistake of abandonment. But I beg thee for one more day, beg for forgiveness  as I wail in sorrow!!! Let euphoria  fill this solemn day, cast the joys of heedless bliss... rebuke my guilt  so this irrevocably fate, will seem  worth-while again! Give me one more day, So I can adjure for I won't delude, I won't fail, I cannot  must not fail! Eternal elation will elude  thy touch, doing the twilight hours if convincing isn't sufficient. Oh! Terminate this animosity, so I can escape the grips of insanity!!!! ~CWMMy plead - forgive me. Written March 28th, 2002 © on Mar 28 2002 10:46 AM PST   0 • 12 • 1
