Here To Stay

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Despite so many distractions, despite life, being so rancorous, and the will of ill, from men.... love is still here to stay. There she is, picking up that frown, and transforms that opression, to a sweet unrestrained smile. A mother protecting her first-born a father, covering his son, from the rain, acts all unselfishness, and kindness, only because love's, is here to stay. Two lovers, staring at the milky way, brothers and sisters, children at play, seeing joy, has made everyones day, and this sight, makes me believe, truly, that love is here to stay. ~CWMAt least I wanna believe. ~CWM Written March 30th, 2002 © on Mar 30 2002 12:15 AM PST   0 • 12 • 9
