Is This A World Of Make Believe?

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Are the stars really real, can I touch the stars? Does the sun really shine, does the moon really glow? Did the grass really grow, does it really snow? Who created ths world, of make believe? Life seems to be a huge story, a series of storylines. Are we starring in our own movie, how many movies have we played in? Life seems to be a fantasy, a science-fiction movie, a horror, an adventure! I am "Tony Soprano," I am "Micheal Douglas," I am "Cal Ripken," I am my creator! Make believe. I am only, who I am... but who am I How did I get here, how did we get here, on earth? Who chose us, why are we the chosen one's? The grass grows, the sun shines, th moon glows, it reall snows. Or does it? Am I really here, did I really live? Is there one life to live, do we really love, or who do we really hate? Life feels like one endless dream, life is a series of plot's, and story-lines. When I broke my thumb, life felt real... guess it was real all along. ~CWMRecent thoughts behind my choatic life. ~CWM Written April 12th, 2002 © on Apr 12 2002 04:07 PM PST   0 • 10
