Lamentation (part two)

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Oh! I'm so dreary, the pain and agony, makes me weary, forI will never again, see you clearly, but my heart, shall always love you dearly. In that coffin, she lies dead, from a bullet to the head, "I love you" is that what she said? As I ponder, as I lay in bed. I think I hear your lovely voice, I stood up,and I began to rejoice! I though I felt your comforting hand, the same hand that use to touch me, as we swam in the sand. These illusions,I must fight, for you are forever gone from my sight! Sobbing, grabbing your robe, with all of my might, how horrific, the cause of death, that took you late,in the night. Weeping, pleading, begging, for your return, seems worthless as this life, has all became to me, a huge mistaken blur. ~CWMPart two, decided to ryhme this time. ~CWM Written March 18th, 2002 © on Mar 18 2002 01:01 PM PST   0 • 1
