Laughter In Spite Of Pain

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The laughter, fades to silence, passing phony sentinments, of the day's before. A week of tragedy, and pain, the endless cycle, that will always remain. The faceless grin, vanishes, forevermore. Hiding hate, hiding fear, hiding sorrow, which will overcome me tomorrow, more bitter sweet nectar, and more gore. Trying to stay up-beat, but can't because of the lonely repeat, which hides, behind a smile, that I ignored. Drifting to the same path, trying to regain hope, with a laugh, has died, from the grips of a bad sore. ~CWMLaughter, with bitter sweet nectar. ~CWM Written March 7th, 2002 © on Mar 07 2002 10:33 AM PST   0 • 1
