Let him Grow

You chained him up, left him alone, in his room of silence. He could'nt go, to the movies, he could'nt have friends, you did'nt approve of. You ruined, so many days, you ruined so many nights. Now, you wonder why hes sneaky, and lies about everything! He needs space, time, he's almost grown up! Let him live,let him make, his own choices,right or wrong! Ms, with you sheltering him, away from the world, for only your beliefs, you're disabling the growth process, of your son. Stop! Stop today! But, you don't listen, you're selfish,controling, and just refuse to listen! Your son,will have no choice, to brake your loving,caring heart. Then, he'll leave you, regreting that you were his mother, you'll regret that he was your son. Ms, bring peace to your son, let him live, if he fails fine, but he must live for himself, and not by the hand, that feeds him. If you can do that, then you'll live, in a world of peace,and closure. If you can't respect him, his wishes, his choices, then your son, will have to shatter your heart. The only child,that you have. Please, please, let go. And let him grow.Written to my nephews mother!
