Let Us Pray

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Let us pray, for those who've died, this year, who left behind nothing, but tears. Let us pray, for brighter days ahead, a life style we can brag, that we have lead. Let us pray, for once again for peace, to restore to the middle east. Although it seems there is no hope, there must be love for them to cope. Let us pray, for our life and strength, and more strength, for at greater lengths. Let us pray, for its ours to depend, for forgiveness to lend, in a world of heartless sin. Let us pray now. Let us pray. Written January 2nd, 2002 © on Jan 02 2002 12:06 PM PST   18 • 0 • 12
