Memories Made Of Tears(Remembrance Of ill-Fated Love)

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Tears, fall gently, down my cheek, so many years of promise, vows that we didn't keep. Same lies, and reduntant repeats. Dawn till dust, dreamning of living without any fuss, love held so dear, to my heart, worthless, just tore us apart. All of the "should have beens" all of the plans, I couldn't mend, false love, transformed to true love, we didn't send. Held my hand, danced in the sand, watched our favorite band. The ring I gave, was so precious, the love I tried to give, was so kind, how I would like to forget you, through my ravaged mind. Some share love, the joy, with those God bless, wished for the same, nothing more, nothing less... Hallucinations of that voice, I want to hear, defeated, beaten, i'll recover, now that you're no where near. Shattered, glimpse of the past, from memories made of tears. ~CWM To Cierra 04-04-02Still hurts. I was truely in love. Guess you really fall in love once, maybe I don't know. ~CWM Written April 4th, 2002 © on Apr 04 2002 04:24 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
