My Watch

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My watch, tells the time, endlessly, telling me, how to spend it. When i spend, more time, on less important matters, it ticks louder, telling me to use it wisely. My watch weeps, when it sees, and hears, humans killing one another. It begs and pleads, for peace. My watch sheds, tears of joy, when it sees kindness, when it hears the birds sing. My watch "ticks" peacefully, when children say, the lords prayer at night. The message is perfectly clear, spend time, live time, and enjoy time. Live time, productive, and not destructive. If not, then my watch shall weep It shall moan. It will moan, to see,how we spend time, when its not, the right way to be.Personification poem.
