Our Last Dance
By Cwm
I still remember, our last dance together. It was fulfilled with love. We danced, and looked, into each others gleaming brown eyes. The mystical magic, seem to caress our every move. Now,i try to rebuke such thoughts. I now realize that was our last dance. I will no longer hold and kiss, such precious flesh. Your flesh now is reserved, for maggots and worms to feast upon. Our last dance is surrounded by darkness, in which you lay six feet deep away from me. Now,the only glimpse, i can picture is your decomposed, rotten, decayed body. Once, hair so delicate, and rich is now just a former pigmented filament. Your once consoling heart, has been embalmed, and reserved, for the living. Your eyes, those startling eyes, are now are just pushed, back into your mangled skeleton. Despite these agonizing thoughts, i will continue to visit, your site of remembrence. I'll drown your grave, with my tears, and dream of us dancing together. Although,it would'nt be the same, i guess when i die, i too, will be equaled to you again. Until then, our last dance remains nebulous, but it'll be as special, when we shall dance together, on the day the day dances together, in unified peace.Sad indeed Written January 2nd, 2002 © on Jan 02 2002 07:49 AM PST 0 • 1
