Saw You Crying, Saw Myself Crying

By Cwm

I saw you cry today, but I had no sympathy. Saw you wail away today, but I didn't care. There you was, crying over, little me. Why? I'm not worth it, look at how, i'm laughing at you, right now. I saw you cry today, but hey, it's not me crying, so what do I care! I'm a selfish, uncaring little boy, who lives with no joy! Yet, I see you smiling at me, I see you trying to console me. Forget it! It's not going to work, stop crying, get up, and get the hell out! I watched you walk away, screaming, bewailing. Suddenly I felt ashamed, why did I mistreat, such wonderful soul... I still don't know, and I still see the flashbacks of her sickening sorrow. I went to lay down, to cool off.... but as I sat, and I began to pray, I noticed, it wasn't you crying anymore Today, I saw myself crying. ~CWM Written March 28th, 2002 © on Mar 28 2002 09:56 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
