Should've Been You

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

"What was I thinking?" "How could I be so foolish?" It was last year, when I thought, my mind was clear, I let someone go, so dear! Now that you're gone, I realize, I was the one for our demise. Now,I see you, with someone else, someone much better than I, Now I have someone else, the jealously, envy, consumes my soul. I can't believe love can be so cruel, but I do believe, it should've been you. Regret, remorse, sorrow, all pack such a painful blow, I love you, that I know. Should've been you, should've been you, you're gone forever without me, it's so sad but so true. Should've been you, should've been you, should've been me, me and you. ~CWMShould've been you, you and me. ~CWM Written March 11th, 2002 © on Mar 11 2002 12:41 PM PST   0 • 1
