The Sky Is Crying

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The sky is crying, the sky is crying, the rain,is the skies, way of crying. It cries to see violence, it cries to see,men woman, begging for another illegal drug. It cries to see, orphans, homelessnes without shelter. The sky is crying now, the sky is crying now. The sky cries, when it sees hate, and unprovoked violent acts. It cries now,it cries now, because the sky knows, the world won't change. It'll continue to cry, for that dead lover, for that perverted dad, for that child, in a make-a-wish-foundation. The sky is crying, and you can hear it moan. You can hear it groan. It cries for hope, for peace and happiness. Maybe, just maybe, one day,it won't cry out,in agony. That day remains to be foreseen. Till that day, maybe we all should cry. for as a whole, we have failed, on our unknown, bleak, path of darkness. The darkness, needs light, or else, the tears will gently flow, passing along the lonely stream, for our sins, need to be redeemed!A methaphor for the sky.
