Trying To Have Faith

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I'm trying to have faith, but it all seem worth-less, i'm trying to have hope, but it all seems point-less. Count-less murders, raping of little girls, child negligence, homelessness, and sick, perverse individuals, who are amused by such acts, still will remain forever! Lifes growing, never-ending cycle, of bitter despair, holds in our grasped. Religious battles, "Whos right, who's wrong!" "What's right, what's wrong's!" Those arguements are nothing more, but the sheer terror, that divides global peace now, in this contradictory society! I'm trying to have faith, although the sand has been drained, i'm trying to have hope, although hell burns beneath my feet. I better run,try to escape, the personal demons, that influence, the hearts of hope-less,faith-less souls. ~CWM Written February 24th, 2002 © on Feb 24 2002 01:45 AM PST   0 • 9
