You Died In My Arms

By Cwm

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I looked into your eyes, they did'nt blink, they did'nt move. I checked your pulse, it did'nt vibrate, nor did it flutter. Moments later, i finally realized, that you died, you died, you died in my arms. I had just kissed, your sweet lips, i had just kissed, you " good night." I said "I love you." You said "I love you" Then i looked aboved, th dazzling stars, those light, but bright, over-casted,shawdoed stars. I then looked upon thee, and i dreamed, that we would someday, visit the evergreen sea. That dream is now, so dear to me, a dream, that will never be. I kissed you once again, now ill start, anew begin. Now,since you died, in my arms, that unforgetable image, has done me, nothing but harm. Why did you have to die in my arms?Sweet, but sad love poem.
