Nudirosa
By cylina
NUDIROSA In spring's cool shade of dawn embed the honeysucked dew bluebirds rise to rosey verse, wings stretched skyward, warbling a sunny serenade~ 'Happy New Year's New Day'. "A dream robed in vision endowed with wisdom's song-soaked seed ~~ Destiny's starburst kiss ~~ sustained by northern rainlight tints the gifted blossom ablue; Nudirosa is promised and true. Embrace the face of her flower crowned in the strength of a helm driven star, the tip of lips plump 'neath a saphire canopy and cradled by an early moon". I strum pluck her from an evergreen throne glossed in bough-strung budded teardrops, her beauty I behold bequeathed at hand. My lustered love makes a bare birthday's wish. Midnight wind blows the flame from a straggly street lamp swiping palmed petals~ I kneel to save her. This poem is based on actual events.
