Her eyes penetrate my heart

By Dale

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Her beauty was beyond what I'd known, It was her beauty and yes those eyes. With flowing shinny hair through light shown, It was there we met beneath the skies. I was taken by her beauty and presence right away, We talked and we laughed into the deep night. I walked away knowing I'd see her another day, My thoughts of seeing her yet again were all right. It was her smile and her sparkling eyes, That took my heart on that special night. It was love as I now have come to realize, For it was honestly love at first sight.
