Books, Candy, and Cigarettes
In the case of an emergency my cellar can hold eight occupants; our children and our neighbors. There is ample space for all of us, and ample air to breathe When the big one finally hits my cellar has electricity; lightbulbs and televisions. So we’ll keep up with the news of course, we’ll keep it together. Just as soon as those sirens sound my cellar has clean, running water; fill up cups and thermoses. There will be enough to wash it all down, yes, to wash down the blues. Before they drop the atom bomb my cellar must have these provisions: books, candy, and cigarettes. let us survive the collapse of time, and let us never die.
