(Dancing Angels - Social)

Upon entering the grand hall way excitement filled my body My body was temporarily paralysed with the electricity that filled the air The music’s deafening song embraced all those who strayed upon it The exotic floor conducted the movements of the wonderful people They danced into the night as Angels with no reason to exist but to dance Dancing alone but at the same time always together The lights lit their musical catwalk as each one showed their prowess One by one the mystical creatures shone like shooting stars Like birds set free, they flew across their golden highway But wait..... The music’s over! The dream is corrupted with the foul aftermath of a once beautiful night As the music diminishes the once golden creatures crawl to escape Now drunken with their own sense of mortality Fear fills their once confident bodies and their outer shells give off bad emotion The man who had provoked these demons and once friends was filled Filled only with the poison that he thought would bring him closer Closer to the very people whom now despise him, why such a change? As the Angels were dancing one golden and mysterious creature was not present The emotion in the room changed as his heart began to shatter leaving only poison With the poison in control the man unleashed his rage upon poor unsuspecting angels With his pride and reputation diminished, he was slain by the beast As the sweet Angels flew off to their domains in the clouds When will my Angel come home?
