The moonlight goddess and the lost love

By deadzone

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Under the moonlight, I am the goddess In the rain I dance with grace Moonlight in my hair Other than snowwhite I am fair I am as free as a bird without a cage No one can guess my age And if you dare, fair sir, to guess my age You might find your life without even one page So touch me if you dare All your doing now is a stare We will see how much you know Hurry before I call my lepoard of snow The rain now stops, as I gently kiss your lips I touch your face with my finger tips You have reseved this kiss because I know who you are I have searched for you near and far Wher have you been I have been worried sick, snice you have been gone I have committed much a sin Yes making the gods angry was not right for me to do But I was trying to find my way back to you I could not look for any signs of you I was not allowed to Without you I've gone mad, crazy with fear and pain So here I sit, and dance in the rain My life has been full of tears and many more than one fear I have hope now, now I can feel your touch Oh, how I have messed you so much Written April 5th, 2002 © on Apr 06 2002 07:45 AM PST   10 • 0
