Midnight's Town

By deepmidnight

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

A warm light passes over The small town as it sleeps In the mists of October The lonely boy weeps His soul was taken from him The air has worn thin And he'll die as the lights dim New life will begin Pale smoke rises from chimneys Painting the dark sky Claiming new rule over these The light will soon die ~~with him by my side~~ Written March 5th, 2002 © on Mar 05 2002 12:38 PM PST   0 • 10
