A WONDERFUL DREAM
By Del
I woke up this morningAnd was filled with incredible delight. My memory was trying to recaptureThe wonderful dream I had last night. The stars just started peekingOut of the velvety moonlit sky.I was walking alone down a country lane,Heard a sound I couldn't quite identify.I kept on walking and listening,And before I got very farI realized it was soft sweet music.Someone was strumming a guitar. He was sitting on the steps of a cottage.I stopped, said "Hi, very nice tune."He put down his guitar, walked over to meAnd said he was serenading the moon.I heard my heart beating fasterAnd I felt my knees grow weak.I was so very exitedI could hardly speak. Here was my dearest internet friend,I thought I would never meet.He was just as I knew he would be,So kind, gentle, loving and so sweet.
