WHEN WE DIE

By Del

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

What really happens when we die?No one will EVER know.Do we go up to that promised land?Way beyond the blue?To spend each day in wondrous joyAnd meet our loved ones too?Or do we go the other wayTo a fiery place called Hell?No one knows, we're sure of that,For no one came back to tell.Reincarnation is the belief of many. How convenient that would be!If God could just recycle usMany more lifetimes we'd see.Our Heaven and Hell is right here now,Depending on how we live.If we're kind and caring for everyoneWe'll get back what we give.So what really happens when we die?No one will EVER know.
