Invading my thin flat window in a night so deep the moon is buried the sound of a pickpocket princess arrives skipping over rainy cobblestones reminding me of a diamond shower cascading crystalline prisms and aurally hallucinogenic sine waves following the homing beacon eminating from her fairy-tale footwear be it her witchcraft or pagan gypsy charm I become engrossed by rainbow tracers watching her "Riverdance" in the threads of a streetlamp loosening my damp cravate I step shuddering to her hollow luminous womb and dance when dawn raises it's bleeding eye I know what souless damnation will come to me but to all there will come a great cost for just a night's worth of feeling so freeno this poem is not about acid.
