In a land long forgotten, By humans like you and I, Lies a forest full of fairies, To tiny for a humans eyes. Out of this land forgotten, Came a fairy boy named Blue, He was named after his eyes, From lakes colored hue. He was tired of his homeland, Wanted to venture north, Felt he was ready to try, To spread his wings forth. When all the fairies were asleep, His belongings he did pack, He really didn’t have that much, It all fit in a tiny sack. He stopped by each sleeping spot, Of those he loved so much, He kissed his mothers forehead, His father’s hand he touched. Out into the night with his little sack, Blue quietly did creep, Adventure was what he sought, He knew not what he’d meet. He couldn’t help but wipe away, A solitary tear, Blue was a mere fairy boy, He loved his parent’s dear.
