A Little Girl
By dianes
A little girl, Small for her age, Learns how to act, But it’s not a play... What happens at home stays here, Is what she hears in her ear, She knows better than to repeat, She knows what it’s like to be beat... A little girl, Coming of age, Knows each act, A star in someone’s play... How she can act, Oh how she smiles, Damn she’s so cute, Angels must of smiled... A little girl, Now grown, Trying to face, The world on her own... She has survived, Now no more lies, He may be dead, But he lives on in her head... A little girl, Now a woman, How much she’s grown, Now with girls of her own... Hey I’m okay, Don’t worry bout me, I’ve dealt with things, Can’t you see...Everyday children are abused, verbally, physically, sexually, Usually by people they know.... Little actors in a world gone mad.... PLEASE DO NOT FEEL THE NEED TO RATE THIS...IF YOU CHOSE TO FINE...JUST A PIECE I WANTED TO POST Written January 27th, 2002 © on Jan 27 2002 10:55 AM PST 0 • 9
