Naked and Unashamed
By dianes
I lie here naked before you, Baring all, Even my heart and soul, Please don’t be harsh. Handle me with care, For I am a gentle, compassionate soul, My body wrought with life’s battle scars, My heart shattered. Trying hard to build a new life, A fresh start, A new outlook, Building a new foundation, Since the old one crumbled. Out with the old tired thoughts, In with new hopeful ones, Making new plans, New horizons before me stand. Had my share of troubles, Bad health, money woes, Family problems just like most of you, Time to move on. No more will I hide, So here I am in all my glory, Naked before you, Unashamed.
