Old Sayings (humor)
By dianes
I keep thinking of old sayings that I used to hear From the time I was a child and remembering from year to year. Step on a crack break your mothers back (why is mom on the sidewalk) See a penny pick it up all the day you'll have good luck (found money, couldn't it have been a brinks money bag that fell of truck) Liar Liar Pants on Fire (hmmmm, that one i never understood, is liar a pyro too) When I was your age (zzzzzzzz, always fell asleep after that phrase) As long as you live under my roof (yah well since I was a kid and no money like I have a choice) Eat your spinach there are starving children all over the world (envelope please, address) Someday when you have kids I hope they grow up to be just like you (THIS CURSE WORKS) Honey, I'm sure it happens to all men (first lie a woman learns and has to be convincing) Where you born in a barn close the door (no but maybe i was conceived in one) Who do you think you are talkin to one of your friends (no i like my friends) But the day you hear your mother or father's words come out of your mouth You know YOU ARE GETTIN OLD!!!!!Please feel free to comment or add any of your old ones that you remember hearing as you grew up and what you thought when you heard them said to you.....thanks Written April 17th, 2002 © on Apr 17 2002 07:33 AM PST 0 • 14
