Someday I hope to discover, A new life with you, It will be an adventure, So much for us to do. I know it won’t be easy, Struggles will be many, We will have to scratch, For every single penny. I’ve had my share of heartaches, And you’ve had yours too, But now that we’ve found each other, I know we will get through. Patience and understanding, Will put us to the test, Nothing worth anything comes easy, True love is the best. It isn’t based on passion, Nor is it based on lust, It’s based on honest emotion, And most of all trust. I’ve waited all my life, For someone just like you, At times I thought I found him, But his love only made me blue. I almost gave up thinking, I would ever find, Someone who touched my soul, And a meeting of the minds.
