Stinky and Lady (Insect Tragedy)
By dianes
There once was a ladybug, Who fell in love, Her little bitty heart, Soared high above, Her parents weren’t happy, With who she did pick, A stinkbug, no less, A complete dimwit, What would all the other bugs say, A stinkbug with a lady, Oh my, They would gossip away. Stinky and Lady they didn’t care, Let them talk all they want, Their love they did share, But sadly if only they were aware. The King of the Insects, Made a proclamation you see, No intermingling of insects to be, It was read out loud, was his decree. Their parents warned them, But they didn’t listen, No King of Insects, Could break the love within them. So they pretended, That their love was done, To protect their families, And their loved ones. In the dark of each night, When all were asleep, Stinky and Lady, Would arrange to meet. Into the night, Two loves would meet, But the King found out, His decree would defeat. He sent out his ant army, To arrest the two, Insects ran, Whoever could flew. The ant army found them that day, Stinky and Lady, A note by their sides, Died together in love by…insecticide! This was fun AA to take a stinkbug and each come up with something different lol.....
