The Two Sides of Me (AP Assign)

Everybody has two sides, I am no exception, Sometimes it’s hard to tell, If I’m going in the right direction. I guess that’s where the phrase, Two-faced comes in, Because of the two sides, That we all hide within. I have a side that is dark, The one that I hide, It is that nasty or depressed person, That growls or sniffles down inside. That part of me I don’t like, Especially, the nasty part, It takes a lot to bring that out, But push me too far and I’ll start. The depressed part of me, Goes along with the nasty part, When I get so far down, My life falls all apart. The other side of me, Is the one that I like most, The person who likes to laugh, The one who likes to joke. That part has my compassionate side, The love and the caring, The person that you want to know, That part I want to nurture and grow. I always think that people wear a mask, To hide their other side, I guess in the end they are afraid, That you won’t like what’s inside…For our next assignment this is what I want. Write a poem titled ' The Two Sides of Me' -AP Assignment . This should mention in some detail two different types of personalities of yourself. Kind of like a Dr.Jekyll/Mr.Hyde thing.
